Romen was thorough with his initial inspection of the chimney, and provided a detailed estimate via email. We selected Coast to Coast over another company because Romen recommended lowering a digital camera into the chimney to inspect the liner, whereas the competing company assumed the liner would be bad, and recommended replacing the liner as part of their initial estimate. When Coast to Coast came out to do the work, they showed me what the camera saw inside the chimney liner, and made an honest assessment that it did not need to be replaced. The rest of the work was completed very professionally: they removed the old chimney top and poured a new one, repaired and tuckpointed the masonry, and replaced the chimney caps as the quote described. They cleaned everything up properly. Everyone from Coast to Coast was very friendly and professional, and the quality of work looks great.
