I had 3 quotes through Angie’s List. Coast-to-Coast had the most reviews, and gave me the best price by far. The two other companies (also highly rated on Angie’s List) had estimates that were twice as much and three times as much, respectively. Romen Zajac came out and did the estimate. He was on time and explained everything to me very clearly. He emailed the contract to me within a few days of the estimate.
A crew of 4 guys came out on a Friday at 8am and had almost everything done by 4 that afternoon. The guys were friendly and courteous and even helped move stuff out of the way inside the garage, which I should have had done ahead of time myself. They repaired everything that was described in the contract, and even did several things that were not in the contract, such as patching large gaps around a door I had replaced and sealing the 2″ gap between the sidewalk and the house. Sealing this gap down the length of the house was definitely not in the contract. Romen said they would do it for free along with the rest of the work. I had to insist on paying a little extra for the additional supplies, since they will be caulking over the mortar after it dries.
